The British Columbia Institute is an independent non-profit dedicated to advancing personal freedom and choice in our great province.

We work on a huge variety of campaigns, helping to bring new ideas and policy solutions, pushing for more transparency and accountability, defending civil liberties, fighting for a fairer deal for British Columbia, and much more.

The British Columbia Institute doesn't accept any government funding and we never will, because unlike many other groups who demand taxpayer funding to advocate for their ideas, we think you should be free to choose, for yourself, which organizations to support.

We have only a fraction of the budgets of those other organizations funded by your money, but we're proud that every dollar in our budget is donated to us, freely, by our supporters - people like you who agree with us and want to help promote those ideas.

As a registered non-profit organization, you can count on us to ensure that your donation is spent wisely and in a fiscally prudent manner!
